The Data Centre Operations Consultant bridges the gap between the Technical Architects and the Data Operations Team. Interpreting the network requirements of High Level Solution Designs into low level detail to be deployed to satisfy customer requirements. These are then documented and other operational departments trained for the on-going support requirements. The purpose of the role is to: Create Low Level Design documentation based on High Level designs from the consultant team and deploy these in a time critical path in line with project deadlines. Production of associated documentation to assist in the support of the range of products, services and customer sites. Investigate developing technologies by performing Proof of Concept deployments into a lab environment and building a business case to include/exclude these from future designs. Ensure technical documentation is produced in line with business defined security classifications and kept up to date which is of appropriate content for the target audience.
