Integration Architect / Engineer Java, C#.NET, WebSphere, MQ, Message Broker, ESB, Web Services
Integration Architect / Engineer (end-to-end design / product delivery). A major company is looking for an experienced hands-on, technically involved architect with genuine full lifecycle product integration and end-to-end design experience. As an end-to-end Integration Architect / Engineer, you will have worked on highly complex, multi-million pound projects from inception to delivery and not just been responsible for one small facet of integration with a specific technical focus. You should have a strong understanding of Integration Patterns, and be able to show evidence of complete systems integration across all tiers through to operational aspects such as data management, cleansing and mapping etc.
Working as part of a dedicated technical integration team, you must have an overall wide-ranging understanding of heterogeneous environments including Mainframe, Java, C#.NET, WebSphere, MQ, Message Broker, ESB, Web Services amongst others (not all are essentials). Candidates from a dedicated development background would be of interest and will be able to design and build large-scale complex frameworks. Whilst the focus of this role is very much on an end-to-end integration specialist rather than a deep expert in any one technology, the ideal candidate will have had exposure to the following tools and technologies amongst others
• Mainframe
• WebSphere Message Broker
• ESB
• Java / .NET
Battle scars and practical hands-on experience of the difficulties associated with integrating complex products to huge and varied environments will be of far greater importance than theory or exposure to the latest cutting edge technologies. This position will be facing off directly to the business, so strong communications and stakeholder management skills are also critical as you will be directly responsible for the delivery of multiple systems integrations on an ongoing basis. In summary, the main ESSENTIALS are:
• End-to-end design
• Systems integration
• Solutions Architecture
• Stakeholder management
• Experience of large heterogeneous environments
You will be working as part of a close-knit, specialist team with a very strong reputation for providing expert services across multiple business units. This role will offer excellent career progression, a very generous banking package.
