Test Engineer

UK based Company in the business of testing automotive Bluetooth and wireless systems for compatibility with the latest mobile consumer devices. We are headquartered in Wokingham and are looking to enhance our organisation to support the growing demand for our services.
Our customers include Current global customers include 11 well known automotive, wireless brands and Tier 1 suppliers.
In addition to the UK headquarters, we have offices in the US, Japan, China, and India. The company is looking for enthusiastic engineers interested in working on Bluetooth and related wireless systems to join the UK office in the Wokingham area. The successful candidate will be expected to undertake the following tasks:
Perform ‘Interoperability Testing’ (IOT) and pre-development testing using a selection of consumer mobile devices in conjunction with the integrated vehicle phone and audio systems from our customers.
Development and pre-development testing of USB and Bluetooth audio streaming devices.
Taking Bluetooth, USB and CAN bus traces using appropriate tools.
Assist with continual development of our data-base tool for recording test data and also ensure the Customer Web Interface and database tools meet the needs of the business and customer requirements.
Design and construction of bench test systems to represent a fully functional vehicle multi-media system for key customers.
Work as a member of a global interoperability test team with team members in the UK, China, USA, Japan and India.
You will need good knowledge of mobile phones with different platforms and operating systems.
In addition, the job will require travel to customers and facilities within the UK and also may require travel to one or more of our global offices.
We are fairly flexible on the level of this person.
Junior Engineer
Graduate in electronics/communications/telecoms
1-3 years experience (can be more years if they are happy with a junior role)

5+ years experience in related industries
