Search Consultancy are currently looking to recruit a 3rd Line Support Engineer that will be responsible for supporting and maintaining our clients server, desktop and mobile computing environment across all European locations.
The 3rd Line Support Engineer will be have the following skills and experience;
3+ years’ experience of working in 3rd Line Support role
Experience in installing and configuring computer hardware, software and print devices
Experience of Microsoft Server 2003/2008, Exchange 2010, Windows 7, Office 2010, backup products and desktop software/hardware
Strong working knowledge and experience in windows based, network server support including Active Directory, DNS, DHCP, TCP/IP, NPS and DFS etc.
Good working knowledge of Windows 7 and Office 2010
Previous experience providing 1st to 3rd line support in a busy network environment as well as user support via the telephone, email or remote access services
Desirably you will hold MCSE, MCSA, MCDST or at least an MCP for this position
The 3rd Line Support Engineer will be responsible for;
Supporting the IT Systems Engineer in developing and managing the company’s Multi-Domain Active Directory and Group Policy service. Installation and configuration of server hardware and software including operating system updates, patches and undertaking configuration changes
Providing a lead point of contact for the control of the IT Helpdesk queues, including reviewing the assignment of helpdesk tickets. Installing and configuring desktop, laptop and mobile technology
