My client is looking for an Applications Manager with a technical MCU background, to manage two teams of Applications Engineers within high profile European sites. As a leading semiconductor manufacturer, they have innovative microcontroller families and need someone with both the hardware and software knowledge (specifically ARM architectures).

The successful candidate will have:

- A strong technical background (applications engineer, design engineer, product marketing)
- Expertise in MCUs (HW and SW)
- The ability to manage engineering teams
- Product definition experience

Interfacing with marketing and global leadership teams, this position could be a nice ‘step up’ for a design leader who wants exposure to more commercial aspects of worldwide activities. It could also be a good fit for a candidate on the technical marketing side, who wants to make the transition in to personnel management.
