Systems development will involve you taking on IT Infrastructure and related projects, planning future IT Infrastructure strategies and techniques, analysing business requirements regarding requests for systems, investigating solutions, making recommendations and testing the effectiveness of the systems. You will also provide and maintain accurate information for annual budgets, audits and financial procedures and assist in the monitoring of expenditure to ensure that spends remain in line with agreed budgets.
The ideal candidate will have previous experience of working in a similar role within a support environment, an enthusiasm for IT and it is advantageous if you have experience of working within a multi-site organisation. It is essential that you have experience of system/ hardware configuration, experience of managing, implementing and supporting LAN/WAN and the application of IT solutions to business problems. You will need to have a commitment to customer care, a drive to move forward and develop, excellent communication and interpersonal skills and an understanding of the principles and practices of equality and diversity. It is desirable but not essential that you have experience of supporting and configuring telephony systems, server setup and implementation and you will need to have a flexible approach to working hours with the ability to travel to other offices when necessary.
