Enterprise Architect (Supply Chain) (Architect, Enterprise Architect, SAP)
We are looking for a Supply Chain Enterprise Architect (Architect, Enterprise Architect, SAP) to join our Logistics Network
Enabled Capability (LogNEC) team challenged with modernising and transforming the Defence logistics service. The successful candidate will work within the programme to conduct a range of architecture activities on functions including Inventory
Management; Supply Chain Management; Asset Tracking & Visibility; Master Data management; Forecasting and Replenishment Planning and Ranging and Scaling. Following defined Boeing processes and liaising with the military customer and technical experts,
the candidate will be expected to develop and manage the system architecture for a domain within the programme.
Key Skills and Responsibilities of the Enterprise Architect (Architect, Enterprise Architect, SAP):
collaboratively within an integrated customer and supplier team to jointly deliver a transformed Defence logistic service.
? Systems design: Recommends/designs structures and tools for systems which meet business needs.
? Delivers technical
visualisation of proposed applications for approval by customer and execution by system developers.
? Develops and translates logical designs into physical designs, and produces detailed design documentation.
? Maps work to user specification
and removes errors and deviations from specification to achieve user-friendly processes.
? Data design: Develops and maintains specialist knowledge of data concepts, object and data modelling techniques and design principles and a detailed knowledge
of database architectures, software and facilities.
? Analyses data requirements to establish modify or maintain object/data models.
? Evaluates potential solutions, demonstrating, installing and commissioning selected products.
? Also, has
an understanding of database architecture.
? Architecture Modelling: Fully experienced in the capture and articulation of information system definition through the use of an integrated architecture model suite.
Experience Required for the Enterprise Architect (Architect, Enterprise Architect, SAP) role:
? Experienced in the use of TOGAF, ArchiMate and Unified Modelling Language (UML).
? Demonstrable experience of working with staff at all
levels, comfortable with conducting presentations and running meetings/workshops
? Effective written and verbal communication skills
? Experience with industry standard logistics applications e.g (SAP, Red Prairie)
? Experience of
integration heavy solutions and SOA
? Experience of the following notation: o Archimate 2.0 notation o MODAF o TOGAF o Business Process Modelling Notation (BPMN)
? Use Case and Scenario Modelling The ideal candidate should also have experience
in configuration and use of IBM Rational System Architect
? Experience of working within a multinational matrix management environment / structure and a large-scale, complex international organization, but also within small teams
