This role will be accountable for the supporting the Lead Business Architect on a new and significant American Express product and program for the UK market. Responsibilities will include:
- Gathering and documenting business needs and requirements to support the definition of the end to end product solution, including creating visualisation of how the IT solution will support those needs.
- Assists in the analysis of underlying issues arising from investigations into requirements and needs.
- Works with IT teams supporting product to ensure the proposed design meets business requirements and needs.

Skills / Experience required;
Typically holds a Bachelor’s or Master’s Degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or other related field (or has equivalent work experience).
Requires prior relevant professional work experience in business requirements and analysis, or technical development/support.
Ideally should have experience working with the Agile methodology and Agile tools such as iRise.
Currently the American Express Technology team is based in Brighton whilst our premises in Burgess Hill are refurbished. Technology positions will be temporally located from an American Express Brighton office therefore all applicants will be required to commit to the commute to Burgess Hill where the Technology positions will be ultimately based for their application to be progressed.
